Google is one of the best search engines of all time, and this app lets you use that search engine without loading a web browser first.

Do you and your friends frequently have arguments over mindless trivia or find yourself asking questions that no one can answer? As long as you have a mobile device on you, you can do a quick web search to find the correct answer. The problem with using mobile browsers is that you need to open one, load the page and then do a search, which can eat up valuable time. Google for Android lets you do those searches without using a browser.

Google for Android now comes bundled with Google Now, which is the company's version of a personal and virtual assistant. This lets you do a search via your own voice and ask the app to perform searches for you. It comes with built-in cards that you can use for finding information about specific things too. You can use those cards to set up reminders relating to upcoming events, find the cheapest price on flights between two cities and make reservations to your favorite restaurants. It will even give you weather information and updates about transportation delays in your area.

Google for Android uses predictive text that predicts what you want to search for based on the letters and words that you enter. You can click the exact word or phrase you want to look for to save yourself some time. As soon as you click on that search, the app will use Google to find the top results for you and direct you to the Google site. Though it does use the web browser on your phone, it will do this automatically. Some may not like that it lists only a few search results rather than the full results that they want to see.

This Google app can also access content and features on your phone. You can use it to look for tweets that you or others shared on Twitter, view a contact on your phone or search for a song in your music library. It does require that you change your settings though in the app to search through your phone instead of searching on the web. No matter what you want to find online or on your phone, you can use Google Search.

Google is a search app for Android, iOS, and Windows devices.

Google puts the search bar on the home screen of your device. This makes searching quick and convenient due to its location. To use it, you simply start typing the words relating to your search query within the box. You then select the appropriate keyword related to your search term to load the page.

You can also search your phone for specific documents and more. You can easily customize what all Google can search for you on your device using the preference tab. This makes Google an excellent choice for those who want search results at their fingertips.

The Google app allows you to search for pages from your Android.

The setup of the app is a bit different than what you might find on a computer. You can keep multiple tabs open by sliding your finger across the screen to reach them. Other than that, it's pretty much the same in that you can search for almost anything online.
